Plainfield Public Arts Council invites local businesses to participate in our first Winter Windows Contest
Our inaugural event invites the Plainfield community to support local businesses this holiday and winter season.
Businesses can participate by creating window displays with winter themes and supporting local artists.
Patrons can participate by supporting local businesses this season and voting for their favorite displays.
HOW TO VOTE
Businesses and Patrons Vote for Your Favorite Display
Vote on Instagram or Facebook:
December 13 – January 10, 2024
Put photos of your favorite Window Display on Instagram and/or Facebook and tag @plainfieldpublicartscouncil and add #PPACWinterWindows
Winners will be announced on Facebook and Instagram January 17, 2024

Winter Windows Guidelines
- Open to all brick and mortar businesses in Plainfield (incorporated and unincorporated)
- Voting begins December 13, 2024.
- Businesses must provide materials. This can include materials beyond window paint – 2D or 3D displays are acceptable.
- PPAC may connect businesses with an artist when or if available. It’s up to the businesses to review payment, timing and terms with the artist(s).
- Themes can include winter topics, for example: holidays, traditions, folklore, seasonal designs.
- Social Media Voting December 13, 2024 – January 10, 2024
- Winners will be promoted on the PPAC Instagram and Facebook pages.
- This contest is for fun and to promote our local Plainfield businesses, artists, participation in artistic initiatives and community building.
