Plainfield Public Arts Council invites local businesses to participate in our second annual Winter Windows Contest
PPAC invites the Plainfield community to support local businesses this holiday and winter season.
Voting is now simpler – when voting opens we’ll share a link to the voting form!
Businesses
can participate by creating window displays and supporting local artists.
Artists
can participate by creating window displays for local businesses
Patrons
can vote for their favorite widow displays. One vote per person, please.

Winter Windows Guidelines
- Open to all brick and mortar businesses in Plainfield (incorporated and unincorporated)
- Windows should be completed by December 15, 2025.
- Voting December 15, 2025 – January 11, 2026
- Businesses must provide materials. This can include materials beyond window paint – 2D or 3D displays are acceptable.
- PPAC may connect businesses with an artist when or if available. It’s up to the businesses to review payment, timing and terms with the artist(s).
- Themes can include winter topics, for example: holidays, traditions, folklore, seasonal designs.
- Winners will be promoted on the PPAC Instagram and Facebook pages.
- This contest is for fun and to promote our local Plainfield businesses, artists, participation in artistic initiatives and community building.
